Called saying they're from Carphone Warehouse, offering me an iphone. Thought I'd play along for a bit instead of hanging up. Asked where they're based so, so I could see if they're far from me. They hung up immediately. Ah well, so much for my game.

Fraud Automated call allegedly from Amazon Prime saying contract is renewing for another year. Wants you to press 1 to be transferred to someone if you want to cancel, most likely to get banking and name and address info.

Number came up on my phone as "Jack the box" (not promising, but also means they've listed themselves as a company I believe). Offering a competitive rate on my bushes electricity. I didn't believe him but told him he could email me the offer and I'd review it. He called back briefly afterwards to ask my name (which he spelt so wrong that I didn't correct it!) I told him I didn't want my email to be sold to anyone or that I didn't want to recieve 3rd party emails No email arrived

SCAM Usual router scam by an Indian gent. Rang off when questioned.

Salesman, rang 14 times today, every 20 minutes When I answered it was actually someone in Bangladesh in a call centre saying my PC has a virus! Block!

A SCAM - be very careful as the person on the phone will try to get you to download a programme called "anydesk.com" which gives remote access to your computer. In my case the person said he was from SKY and was checking on my report on bad internet signal (that part was true). He took me through a few dialogue boxes (thankfully I knew that I was not changing settings). He then tried to get me to download the programme. Thankfully I questioned it. He hung up. I received a text from this number which is most likely phishing. The text was written in Swedish (I live in Sweden) and stated that I had an unpaid parking debt and provided a link - which I didn't follow. The link was "http://Inbq.link/ZYSDt8" I have no parking debts so can only presume that the link led to a site asking for my bank details.

Some nonsense about the care/warranty package for my tv, cooker and washing machine. Asked for company name and gave me two different names. Then when he asked for the year I was born, I told him 1900 and he hung up. The bloke on the other end was really thick and gullible and I hope his wife leaves him and his mother sleeps with his best friend
