Phone rang. Cut off after I gave my telephone no.

I have now had 2 phone calls from this number a man calling himself Tom called both times, from a government initiative company regafding the loft lagging (althougn I have never heard it called lagging in this country it is loft insulation) I told him the first time that I was with the TPS and also a housing association tenant, he has just called again and again I explained that I'm witht he TPS and asked him to remove my number from the database and that I was a tenant not a home owner, again he just hung

Called my grandmother saying they were from the telephone preference service. Asked if she still pays her phone bill by direct debit. Then asked for her card expiry date. Grandmother knew that the telephone preference service was free and luckily knew this was a scam call. Don t give them anything!

I have been called at least once a day for the last week. They either hang up before I get a chance to answer or there is just silence when I do answer. It s particularly annoying as they are diverted to my mobile phone from my office number .... I have the privilege of paying for the divert ! I have just called their office number and asked to be removed from all future calls / campaigns or whatever. The woman I spoke to was very pleasant (as was I) but I did warn her that I would report any further
