Scammers looking for easy victims. In my case he pretended to be from Currys PC World offering great deals. The very moment you confront them they start swearing and hang up.

Spoke to there main contractor this morning very informative lots of points of question.

There says that they calling from a bank trying to make send money to them

Scammer, claiming to be from Santander Fraud dept. Wanting me to authorise a payment of £1000. He hung up when I said he had proven he was a scammer.

Rung and rung and rung until I answered (stayed silent) and they hung up 2 seconds later

SCAM Got a call just now from 020 8089 6127 by a South African sounding woman, saying she was from a company called Teabag, and she went on the say I understand you have defrauded out of money on-line and want to get it back. When I asked how she got my name and phone number she hung up.

they sent me an email claiming i will be charged £375 for Norton antivirues renewal. Called received - automated message claiming to be from Visa regarding large transaction on my card and to press 1 to stop the payment. Didn't sound right. Called it back to get no answer and eventually the default EE voicemail message
