I have had several calls from this number every day for about a week but no one spoke. Today a woman tried to tell me that I had a virus on my computer that got worse every time I turned it on. She said she was from Windows technical and would help with the fault if turned my computer on. I told her that my son is a computer technician and also that I knew that she wasn t legitimate (I had already checked the number and found this site). She obviously hung up!

Same experience as others, I was called on my Australian mobile and asked for by name. I asked who was calling and the male caller said "It's Elliot" and then hung up. Called the number back and it's an Avaya voicemail, extn 481 not available.

Seems to be some call center, I can see more similar numbers (all the same range - 1217322xxx, just last 2 or 3 digits different) reported here already. No idea who is behind it, they left no message, no VM. I really don't answer unknown numbers, tried to dig some info about this number first on internet, but no luck so far.
