A Asian guy called saying I have been awarded a 30% discount for being a loyal customer O2 customer. i Left O2 over a couple of years ago, so I checked the number out online while he was talking and the number was listed as a scam call, so knew it was a scam. He said he was going to pass me to customer service. I then spoke to the next Asian guy who said he would send me a message and to except it (phone malware). SCAM Call started with ' A oversees transaction of 600 pounds was made today was this you ' Was then asked to answer yes or no. I stated no I was put through to a foreign call center stating to be from the Halifax. I stopped him and stated I will end the call and call Halifax direct myself. After doing so Halifax stated it was a scam call and to block the number.

Twice today, Suspicious, we said nothing and there was no response before the line went dead.
Called twice within the hour during the evening. Nottingham code. We live hundreds of miles from there! Left answer machine to deal with it. Recorded message saying there was a power cut in our area (there was not) press a number to acknowledge we'd heard the message (we didn't). We unplugged the phone overnight as they'd said they'd let us know when the power would be back on. Odd!

Received a phone call from this Number and a guy called Matthew just answered telling me that I've had an installation done and suddenly the line dropped. Anyway, the line was really bad and he did not called back again. On the phone screen it appeared with the writing INTERNATIONAL along with the number.
