This company keeps calling me and when I ring back, it is constantly busy. What a nuisance! Who are they?! What do they want?!!

Saying from internet provider and something wrong with signal they will help fix it i.e go onto your computer. Definate scam getting these daily all from different numbers, SCAM

I have called applianceserve on 08004118899. I said I had asked for a refund of the £175 I had paid for my washing machine to cover the next 3 years following the expiry of the manufacturer s guarantee but had not received any response. Having seen comments on the internet saying it was a scam, I said if the company is genuine then please can you arrange a refund. She looked up my details and said someone will call me tomorrow in office hours. She sounded pleasant - so - watch this space!!

UPDATE FROM CHEAP WEB DESIGN: Unfortunately we continue to be hounded by scammers which is resulting in thousands of people calling us back to see why they were called (we're only a team of 8 so have had to disable our phones and put a pre-recorded message). It s insurance on behalf of unite. They only phone if you tell them your interested in insurance. Also you are entitled to free cover upto 5k for a year but they are asking if you want more coverage. If you speak to them and you don t want it that s it for a year.
