SCAM This automated call purports to be from LLOYDS BANK FRAUD DEPT reporting fraudulent activity on a credit card, they ask you to press any number to be put in touch with their team. IT IS A SCAM The person they named left here over 9 years ago and has updated her contact details with LLOYDS each time she moved. The question I would like answered is if LLOYDS know they have detected fraudulent activity on a card, why don’t they stop it?

Recorded message from Amazon saying that my Prime Membership had expired etc etc. I do not have an Amazon Prime membership.

Got a call from this number, can’t find any search about this number. Too noisy! First said it was from Sky, (knew my name and address), said my contract ended now in begin of April, I corrected saying it was only next month. Then she said they needed to do some checks to see if they could offer me a better/cheaper deal and asked me how much I pay monthly. It was when I said if you’re from sky you should know how much I pay. it was when she said she wasn’t from Sky but from UK utility something. I hung up

SCAM Calls to mislead about tax issues and perform scam

Received a number of calls from this company claiming to be working with Convention Experts for a Show they didn’t know the name of and had the wrong company name. When asked who provided them our details they wasn’t able to answer. Just scam artists!!!

Really do not know why this country's Government permits the likes of telecom companies to provide landline numbers to fraudsters and scam artists so when you look at it the telecom companies are complicit in the actions of these criminals and are profiting from crimes of fraud and as I see it the Government are just as complicit as they are doing sweet bugger all to stop them

Someone in a rather busy callcenter saying they're from 3 mobile billing department how can they help me? I said I'm not sure you called me and she hung up immediately. Needs more scammer training that woman. Might also help if I was with 3.

I dialled this number back because I could not understand the woman and I got a message saying "if this number called you it was probably a hoax call" ???? i've never heard that before!

This number seems to be from Dagastan in Russia. As I don't know anyone in Russia I would suggest it is a scam caller. Fortunately I got it as a missed call.

Claimed to be from the "promotional department" of my network provider O2 and they can offer me a 40% discount on my bill. SCAM- 0128 240981 I've been bombarded by calls from similar 0128 numbers for past couple weeks. I finally answered this one today (28th October) and it was a lady with an oversees accent with echoey background noise saying she was from the National Debtline. She knew my name and kept asking me to confirm it but I didn't and I kept asking who she was then hung up when she said she was from the debtline. They don't cold call you and it's a totally different number so I blocked it.
