Received two calls in the last 48 hours telling me I would be losing my internet connection in the next 24 hours and that I needed to "Press 1". I didn't.

Caller rang me and clearly it is from a call centre as lots of people talking in the background about mobile phones. Caller did not speak and hung up the phone. I rang the number back which is supposedly on the Sheffield UK exchange but there was a one sentence message which said you have been called by carphonewarehouse . A few minutes later the same caller ID appeared on my phone and when I answered it it was a female calling from carphonewarehouse in SOUTH AFRICA!!

I suppose equidebt behind that number!

Calling from a huge sales company that make calls from data spreadsheets. Mine was for insurance renewal purposes which is not sue for renewal.

This phone number called me on my orange phone never answered it when phone bill came I got charged for 1hours at 19.96+vat so it s definitely a con don t phone at any cost Hope this help others by the way orange did deduct this charge from my bill
