Apparently this is the Energy Advice Team and I thought this company were just cold calling me. Somebody claiming to be Ethan Hunt supposedly from Ace Investing claiming I had expressed an interest in investing with their firm. Wouldn't give up. Pretty sure he was a scammer but he did know my name, phone number and a (throwaway) email address.

Text message received from this number claiming to be a Lloyds Alert. Warning me that I had successfully paired a new device and giving me a website to visit if it wasn t me.
Caller identified herself as Julie Smith from Signet Advice (as far as I could tell with some background noise). Said she d been informed I was recently injured in a car accident that wasn t my fault. I asked her how she knew that. She replied that she was sorry to bother me and would remove my phone number from their database and hung up on me without pausing for breath. Pond scum. (My number is registered with TPS and I can t stand talking to idiots so I ve reported them)
