This call was a follow-up call from the Met Police after I reported a theft via their 101 non-emergency number. They repeated to me details from my 101 call, so I have no doubt it was the police. I imagine its unknown etc as it comes through their switchboard, I get the same when the wife rings me from work phone.

Scammer - Says they are BT openreach, then proceeds to say there is a problem with the router and you need to give them details to fix it. When I said I don't have BT services, the guy said "I know, BT is the only distributer over the country!" Really? Perhaps they need to do their homework. SCAM - text from this number. Claiming to be UPS and asking for payment to redeliver a parcel (which they said they tried once but I was 'out'). I had been home all day and I wasn't expecting a parcel. I suspect the next thing they'd ask for would be credit card details. I blocked them.
