Phoned once. Answered it but didn t say anything. Girl asked for me by name. I made enough noise that she knew someone was there and waited a minute then hung up. Half an hour later, a man called. Joe. I said "You re coming up as a nuisance call on my phone. Why is that?". He identified himself as Joe from a company called Clear Answer working on behalf of EE. Sick and tired of these calls !! Got call block on my phone but as this one was a local area code it got through Garbled foreign Chinese sounding female asking to speak to house...
They called me several times and i decided to answer it today and they told me that they from amenisty international(human right)as i wanted to ask more question the line cut off.Later on i googled amenisty international and i couldn t find that number and i became suspicious.

The number 0800 862 0818 is genuine, but everyone should always consider if a number is spoofed - try to get them to tell you something about you that they know already. Eg if they ask for your email, tell them a fake one and see if they know it's fake. If they don't, they may not be genuine.

was really rude said police was going to picknme up tonight.
I received a call from this number today from someone claiming to be NHS Test and Trace but there was no way of verifying who the individual was so I was not willing to share personal information with him. If it is an NHS number then maybe they should send a text beforehand so the recipient knows the identity of the call. This is really important as there are so many phone scams going round and this was in relation to Covid19 where a lot of people feel vulnerable and at the mercy of the NHS.
Rang and hung up after so many rings. Not the first time this bunch has called.

Claimed it was EE, but I suspect this is most likely a SCAM call centre due to the line of questioning and the fact they simply hung up on me when they weren't getting the response they were looking for.
Not spam or a scam. They're Custom Insurance & Mortgage Solutions. I have my life assurance cover through them. They ring me every year to see if I need anything else.
