This number called me today saying with an automated message that there was a fraudulent charge for a US gambling site and if I wanted to no more I was to press one. 100% SCAM DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS!!! The bank would never phone u with an automated call and not identify themselves and ask u to press numbers like this. This is so they can get access to ur details. These people r TOTAL SCUM. Someone saying they where from a company called UK direct. Asked if they could ask me 5 quick questions. Then proceeded to ask me more and more personal questions before hanging up once I questioned them.

SCAM Automated voice message saying legal action will be taken against you and to press 1 to speak to an advisor.

A spokesperson from BT told us, “We’ll never call a customer to tell them their router or IP address has been compromised or ask for any personal information, including bank details unexpectedly and we’ll never call from an ‘unknown’ number.

FraudFemale recorded voice with American accent (very amateurish) saying they were HMRC and that I had been reported for tax evasion. The case has been reported to the police and would be brought before a magistrate. "Press 1 to speak to a HMRC agent", Obviously I didn't. This country has some of the most advanced telecomms technology in the world. WHY can't the authoriries (Police, BT, the Regulator) take down these numbers?

I have listed this as scam SCAM but I do answer unknown out of the blue calls. I believe that if the caller dosen't bother to leave a message, it can't be serious and is probably up to no good. As soon as the caller got the answerphone message they immediately killed the call.

Called my 86 yo mum claiming to be "the company that services your domestic appliances and boiler", I interrupted the call, asked if they were British Gas, on being told no the caller was invited to go forth and multiply.

SCAM Male. Asian accent pretending to be from O2 offering a 75% discount on my contract as long as I give him details there and then. I'm not with O2 nor do I have a Contract. When informed Him of this. He said Vodafone have the same deal and I'd be contacted. He met my blocked list.

Scam caller, saying they are from Openreach doing a check as there is a report of a fault and to check my emails. I challenged her before she finished speaking as I knew it was a scam, and she hung up, but obviously would persist if a vulnerable person had answered.

I HAD A TEXT MESSAGE ON MY MOBILE TODAY AT 21:17, SAYING THEY WERE FROM "EVRI", AND HAD FAILED TO DELIVER MY PARCEL (I HAVE NOT GOT ANY PARCELS DUE), IT HAD RETURNED TO THE DEPOT, DUE TO FAILED DELIVERY, SOMEONE HAS BEEN IN ALL DAY, AND NO PARCELS HAVE BEEN DELIVERED BY "EVRI", I THINK THIS IS A SCAM, PLEASE CAN YOU INVESTIGATE.
