He phoned me on Sunday in response to my ad and offered me the spare parts I wanted for my classic car. We agreed a price and then he said he wanted payment by bank transfer as he was about to go away on holiday. This was an automated call saying they were from Amazon & I was being charged £90 for Amazon Prime. I do not have Amazon Prime & I know Amazon does not have my home number. Total scam
This number is DANGEROUS! My son with special needs got a barrage of calls from this number spoofing police calls that he got involved in a car accident on the M5, another call saying that they are bailiffs saying that they owe them £1,600. Incident reported to the police already. Stay away from this number. They hide using this number so you won’t see their phone number.
I received a couple of calls from this credit service company who offering debt help. I said that I m not interested in debt help and hung up.
SCAM said they were calling from virgin media and my internet was running slow. I questioned that he was from v.m. as they would put compensation credit on next billing - surely ?? Sounded like a busy telesales background noise. Man spoke English but with a strong Indian subcontinent accent.
