Claiming to be o2 i was asked for one time code that was sent to me Scam fraud do not answer or call back

SCAM Caller said they were from 3 (mobile phone company), said they had a promotion to reduce my bill and asked me whether I am using an iPhone or Samsung phone. I refused to give them details and the caller swore at me then hung up.

Call said suspicious contraction on my bank account money taken out from Amazon and others HSBC . Press 1 to speak to someone . Automated call.

This is to harvest people’s voice related to your phone number and location for database. All done in a nano second by AI software. Someone wants to know where you are and that it is you answering the phone. That is why you get these calls several times daily even if you have told you are not interested.

Fraud / Scam............... States they're from BT with alarming call that your router is faulty and that your internet line is public. Then starts to asks questions about the lights on router, who uses internet, even knew home address, at that point I hung up. I contacted BT - they do not have any such number listed in their network, also they confirmed no calls were made to line from themselves.

Amazon account expiry scam

Fraud the user of this number is posing as being from o2 and offering discount packages on contracts. They even sent me a txt with a pin code to access my account. This is a fraudulent call

Phone call from someone claiming to be called Alex Ferguson slight foreign accent offering refund on washing machine insurance and asking for bank details to check repayment we have not payed insurance on our washing machine.

SCAM Pretended to be from BT Open Reach and told me my ROUTER was not connecting to the network properly. I told the Indian woman that no it won't be as its a Virgin Media Router connected to the independent Virgin Media Network! and it is working great! then I hung up.

This is a scam number which charges a premium rate at 3. 60 per minute to connect you to a service, they will likely put you on hold to music to make as much money as possible. Do not be duped into calling this number. Before calling any phone number, double check the website’s URL to ensure it definitely belongs to your provider - 0333 numbers are the standard call rate 0903 are premium rates.

Fraud A scam - and a very convincing one too !! Purport to be transaction investigators for TSB, and for an hour went over and over questioning, checking transactions, cancelling card, and then working very hard to persuade that account needed closing and reopening with a safe sort code and account number, asking about standing orders and Direct debits!!! Thankfully we realised in time and put a stop to it. They had enough information by then to make it dodgy!!!!

A text from this number is a scam. It suggests the text is from a family member who has damaged their phone, and is calling from a friend's phone asking you to call back on a WhatsApp link.

Supposedly Amazon Customer Services recorded message call saying a £700 order quoting a fictitious order number has been frozen, press 1 to cancell the order.

Fraud recording only. claiming that you have a pending case from HMRC and are investigating your financial activity. It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. Oriental lady, very hesitant, claimed to be from Virgin Media about an internet connection. Used a local number to us, but unlikely to be a Virgin Media number. Rang off when told not a Virgin user. If a valid call would have had initial details available

Noted number and called back through different phone. Sounded like a recorded message from the network provider indicating a terms of service issue and potential out of country routing. Highly dubious. Do not answer.
