Fraud ... claiming to be a credit investigation advisor ... I said who gave you my number she stated the fcra financial conduct regulation authority... 1. I have no credit and 2. There's no such agency.

SCAM Indian caller with poor English said they were from a company called Reclaim and a claim that I had made had been successful and they had £300 and something money ready to pay me. I told them I had no such claim and they had the wrong number and I hung up.

When I was called today from this phone number, my phone showed me that is a spam suspicious, so I didn't answer!

DON'T SPEAK if you don't recognise the number - JUST LISTEN, wait for them to speak first. If the caller just hangs up or only a crackling noise is heard and then hangs up, then congratulations you've just escaped being scammed. Well done!

Caller with an Asian accent said he was from o2 and I had been selected to have a 50% discount on my tariff. I have has these calls before and seemed to be an obvious scam, so I briefly went along… The caller said I would receive an email from o2 but first I would have to pass security and he would send me 2 links with questions. This number called telling me fraudulent activity had happened on my official ID card, which I do not have. I was asked to push one for urgent connection with their agent. I did nothing assuming it was a scam, or spam.

SCAM This is a text from a scammer who's taking advantage of the legit cost of living payments. It says it's from the gov. website and asks you to click a link to add your bank account details so that they can deposit the amount in your bank, so beware! Anyone who is entitled to any DWP money will automatically have it deposited into their bank account and upon researching this, I was told that DWP will NEVER text or ring you to inform you of your entitlements or ask for any details.

Scam is to get Yr correct information name dob.. address and ask u for the 2 letter and 2nd 4th letter of your national insurance number then they say it does NOT match put u in fear that if u don't confirm correct details BTW now with NI BUT with 1st letter, 1st 3rd and last letter of NI. Convincing u if it was a scam why hv they not asked for bank details Ah so they can open account with Yr now given credentials.
