Guy introduce himself saying he was contacting me as i was on a list to receive a refund due to bank charges. He asked me lots of questions about who ive had loans from and who ive had credit cards with. I said im sorry this doesn t sound right to me...he got very irritated and told me to check the number it is a recognized BT number at a registered address. I have received three calls on this number this morning and each time there is no one there. It is very annoying to say the least.
So glad I ve just looked on hear, did get them to check and they said yes due for refund, lucky I guess for me I didn t have the funds to pay the £400 fee, but did receive lots of calls and also a solicitors letter, all ignored and haven t heard from them since, thanks to everyone s comments think I ve saved some money

now that i have seen the address and the location of the address, i believe this could be an agent for a charity that provides work for the blind. they then sell the products they make and pack via calls and delivery(very good stuff!)so i think it is legit. further i dont think they engage in cold calls only to people who have dealt with them before.

I recently got a phone call from this number soon after contacting sky about my broadband. He asked me to run a check on my speed and tell him the speeds for uplload and download; he then continued to tell me what i should have and that i should go onto my pc and connect to the their technical dept server so they could upgrade to what i should be having. Luckily im a bit tech savvy and new my speeds were correct and questioned him on my account which he couldn't give any details on. I'd say this is a scam!!
