I had a call this afternoon apparently from this number 08000234567, which I know is the number of the Financial Ombudsman's Office, when the caller said he was from the fraud dept of my bank. I had called the Financial Ombudsman earlier in the day on that number. It did not feel right and when I challenged the caller he put down the phone. Somebody may be able to pick up the numbers of those who have called the FOO? I will tell the FOO by email as their phone system takes too long to get through!

it;s the usual lowlife trying desperately trying to rob me of my pension pot. I'd like them to have a go at my bank, I'd get rid of my overdraft then! Seriously I consider ALL of these calls Dangerous, each and every one of them are lowlife robbers so how can they be anything less than dangerous ? Pretending to call from my bank about fraudulent transactions on my account, those transactions were taking from my account, someone had access to my card number, didn't ask me any security questions, just telling me my account issues, and didn't sound professional, was an English man, I hung up and phoned my real bank instead.Fraud

Automated message stating that Amazon Prime will renew and will be taken out of bank account. Wanting you to stay on the line to speak to someone. Was my direct dial at work that they called.

Scam. Pretended to be O2 and randomly offered me 30% off my bill. He had no information on me, very unprofessional, wanted me to confirm all my personal data. When I suggested this was a scam he hung up on me.

Received an automated call from this number purporting to represent my credit card (no name mentioned, no bank name mentioned) saying that it had been used twice, once on Amazon, and for a foreign currency transaction. Press 1 for security, 2 for customer services. SUSPECT FRAUD!!

Rang my elderly mother telling her her bank account had money taken from it, luckily my mother is on high alert with this kind of calls.

Foreign speaking male asked me to confirm my details as I was due a refund if £202 for over paying my bills over the telephone. He knew my name address but then got upset as I wouldn't give him my date of birth etc

This is a scam number for "Electric Yorkshire". avoid at all costs, they overcharge and try to add extra hidden charges. Calling to cancel, they will refuse to and try to scam you out of giving them more money. Luckily I was wise enough to not give them a penny. Report and block their numbers, they don't turn up either.

Called about bitcoin, and said my number was associated with bitcoin purchase about 4 years ago. I did not even have this number that long ago. Sounded very shady, when I questioned what it was about they rushed to hang up saying that they would be in contact when they could prove it.
