I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. Strongly suspect fraud/scam as recorded voice from unnamed bank said unauthorised transactions had been made against my card.

This number is ringing my BT landline every day at different times of the day claiming to be from the BT technical department. The caller says they have been monitoring my broadband connection for several weeks and have detected a number of unauthorised users using my IP address. To correct this they want me to open my computer and accept new settings that they are about to give me. At this point I hang up assuming this is a scam and will give access to my PC and everything that is stored on it.

They called Yesterday Afternoon, I didn't answer this call but my mobile marked it as SPAM automatically in my missed calls.

Scam call purportedly from bank advising of fraudulent credit card transactions which they are blocking. The caller wants you to input a code which they text to you. DO NOT DO SO. If you do they will, no doubt, get access to your account. I put a block on the call number via my mobile phone provider and sent an email to the bank's security dept informing them of the scam.
