I used him to check if my info actually was leaked and then I rejected the transaction and cancelled my card lol. Pretty funny call, although dangerous to those who aren’t very IT literate. Fraud This number was used to attempt a PayPal "fake payment invoice" scam/fraud. My customer received a fake PayPal receipt for Bitcoin and the "support" number they gave prompted multiple callbacks from this number. They will "refund" a bigger amount than the invoice says, then plead with you to get the overpayment back. Once they have your cash, the original "refund" vanishes from your account. Be warned!!

SPAM from a caller with a strong foreign accent, possibly Indian. I struggled to understand what was being said. They were wanting me to confirm that I was the council or housing association tenant and to discuss paying for repairs/damages. Addressed me by my first name. This was the second call of this nature I had had, albeit from a different number, of the same nature in less than 1/2 hour. I believe it was the same company who had ignored my initial request to remove my number from their list.
