SCAM, claim to be calling from The Financial Conduct Authority regarding a frozen Bit Coin account in my name, when told I did not have BIT coin, insisted that i do!!

SCAM: The number 08000478737 is on a letter supposedly from Trading Standards saying a wine investment company I have shares with has gone bust. The letter comes with an Insolvency Service form to complete regarding my shares, and that i must complete it in order to get full value of my shares returned. I must telephone the number to give the answers. Except, the wine company hasn't gone bust & Trading Standards don't send out these kind of letters.

I received a call from this number today saying someone had tried to pay for something on Amazon and with draw £1000 from my bank. It just went off before the call finished so I rang the number back on my mobile. I guy answered but said he had not used his phone that morning.

Male recorded voice claiming to be Visa fraud saying £700 had been spent on my card. and press 1 to stop it. I don't have one.

Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC

I do not have an eBay account associated with the email address I received the email on. I was called by this number on 16/2/23 at 10.13am. The caller claimed to be from my broadband supplier and said there were problems with my broadband. I said I had no problems and didn’t understand how they could try to con people in this way. Same number called me again at 11.48am, 12.16, and 13.22. These were silent calls. Clearly I annoyed them, but I’m fed up with these calls. How do they know who my broadband provider is ?

SCAM Claimed to be from Currys / PC World offered an iPhone 13 Pro Max for £35 per month unlimited calls, data and texts. I asked why it was so cheap and they said it was a limited, local promotion not available online or instore. I asked for more details and they said they would email them to me. Fraud Recorded message from “Bank Security” querying two large transactions on my bank card. Request you press to speak to someone. Don’t - they will attempt to access your bank account and steal money.

This is a Bedford number so it will be the scammers at J Talk pretending to be your BT manager. Somehow got my personal mobile number but when told the time of day he rang the company number immediately. BT, how do these people obtain private details, someone must be passing them on?
