SCAM the person on the phone was asian caller from India very hard to understand as he refused to provide with clear details of the company that he was ringing on behalf of, rushed his words when told to speak slower and clearly he made out he did not understand wanting me to stay on the phone for longer but I put the phone down after frustration even after I tried to give him my time to talk to me clearly being if asian background myself but he kept going off topic, very suspicious caller do not trust.

Automated call A number that shows up as a local call on my landline (without prefix)..However, it is followed by the well-known 7 bleeps and a pre-recorded message saying "Thank you for calling". I have received hundreds of calls of this type from numbers all over the country. Why it seems to be impossible to put a stop to the company that is responsible for these nuisance calls is something I simply do not understand.

This number called approx. 2.30pm stating in a recorded message that our credit card had been used fraudulently. £300 odd paid to Amazon. A £1000 odd paid out as well, from Scotland. This is the 2nd call today, saying exactly the same thing. The first from telephone01558810165.same recorded message at 12.30pm from Wales. A scam definitely.

Like other reviewer, I had the same call today from a lady with a very strong accent and could not understand a word she was saying apart from hearing 02. Told her I wasn't with 02, she said you are, (I think). Put the phone down and blocked it. This no. Claiming to be Barclays fraud has called me daily and the calls are getting earlier which is annoying as I am being woken up from my sleep. Why don’t they get the message not to call me if I am Not responding to them? I expect it to be genuine if my bank wrote to me first.
Do not trust this number - it is my landline number which has been 'spoofed' by a scammer. I have reported it to Ofcom and my service provider but there is apparently nothing that can be done to prevent this illegal activity in the short term.

I received a call from someone who said they were from BT and that they had detected that my BT landline had a low broadband speed... This is unlikely as I don't use BT!!!! This is obviously a scam. Checked the 01322225284 number that came up on my display and found that the caller was phoning from the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel at Dartford Bridge, UK! Beware, do not give personal or banking details!!!!

Number came up on my phone as "Jack the box" (not promising, but also means they've listed themselves as a company I believe). Offering a competitive rate on my bushes electricity. I didn't believe him but told him he could email me the offer and I'd review it. He called back briefly afterwards to ask my name (which he spelt so wrong that I didn't correct it!) I told him I didn't want my email to be sold to anyone or that I didn't want to recieve 3rd party emails No email arrived

I asked them to tell me the address to which they claimed the debt was overdue on, but they couldn't.
