Keeps ending me silly messages I do not trust the number I Block it each time they send a message, whoever it is will get fed up in the end!

Poor line quality, strong foreign accent. Claimed to be from SKY and had detected "slow internet" on my connection which they could fix at no cost. When I replied that I didn't have any problems, immediately hung up.

Fraud recording only. claiming that you have a pending case from HMRC and are investigating your financial activity. It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. Caller asked me if I remember the car accident I’d had? Well, unless I’m concussed and / or lost my memory as a result of it … then no, I can’t remember it due to not actually having an accident. An Asian (oriental) sounding voice speaking barely understandable pigeon English. Readers can make up their own mind if the call was a Scam but in my mind the caller is already burning in hell in the eternal fire. Love and peace

I received an SMS that appears to have been sent by HSBC. This shows an one-time password for a transaction of around £983 and asks me to urgently call this number (03309124638) if I do not recognise this transaction. BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM! I have called HSBC (on their true number and not the fake number mentioned above) and they have confirmed what was obvious to me: THIS IS A SCAM. Your account is safe and has not been compromised. IGNORE THE TEXT MESSAGE and do NOT call that number. That's all!

Foreign sounding pre-recorded message about a substantial VISA debitcard transaction. Obvious scam - messages from banks, etc do not usually start "Dear Customer". Use of an apparently local number is clearly an attempt to give it some credibility.
