Received 4 calls on my cell in Benelux within 2 minutes; this is part of a practise that started on 13/2: since then I received about 60 odd calls from similar +44 numbers. The first one or 2 I picked up and people claim I registered with credit card for online consultancy, related to financial investments. After that I categorically block all these calls. Probably a scam. Indian young male trying to present as being from a company I did not understand as pronounced by him. He became annoyed and started using a nasty tone and nasty words. Realising has no chances, he hung up the phone and, probably moved to another "customer".
Silent call multiple times a day. Never leaves a message. I called back using mobile. Non English speaker who just kept saying 'sorry, sorry' and then started calling my mobile which is now blocked.

I had a call this afternoon apparently from this number 08000234567, which I know is the number of the Financial Ombudsman's Office, when the caller said he was from the fraud dept of my bank. I had called the Financial Ombudsman earlier in the day on that number. It did not feel right and when I challenged the caller he put down the phone. Somebody may be able to pick up the numbers of those who have called the FOO? I will tell the FOO by email as their phone system takes too long to get through!

SCAM Received another call from this number today - this time they left a message. Very strong accent and ringing from a call centre so it was difficult to make out. Caller stated they were calling from somewhere which sounded like Yonny (EON something) regarding our energy account. Caller did not specify which type of energy. Caller gave this number as a number to ring back 'as soon as you receive this message'. Ignored and deleted.
