They do announce themselves to contact customers on behalf of EON and are not actually EON.I am sure eon knows about it despite they deny they use such call centres. Recorded message (American accent) informing me that the sum of £749 had been deducted from my bank account and thanking me for my order. I rang off and checked my bank account, no withdraw made
Automated call saying two unusual payments form my account (did not say which account!!). Told to press 1 to approve payments or 2 to speak to someone. I hung up and blocked the number.
