Amazon Prime Scam
SCAM Automated voice claiming they are about to charge you £80 for a renewed Amazon Prime subscription, hoping that you'll opt to talk to a sales rep who will then try to extract your account information from you.
Fraud I believe this was an attempt to get my debt card information. I typed in the url filled up with an all red page telling me this was a fraudulent site and to not contact or talk to these people. UNSAFE SITE trying to get my credit card, social sec. info etc. It had the phone number 208-537-7505 which if you call it, get nothing but what sounds like a fake ring - No one picks up. The URL they sent in the text led me to the warning site. The text will ask if you used your card and the amt charged.
SCAM Received text from Halifax stating my card had been blocked due to unusual activity and asked me to call this number. Knew this was a scam as I don't have a Halifax account.

In the past few days, I have had numerous calls from numbers all starting with 118 230... The one I just asked about called on Feb.27th. I ended the call early by saying I had stuff to do. Overall the guy on the other end was very respectful and polite, and had a very mild Indian accent, so I think he might've been legit. Of note, however, is that my number is a Canadian number.
