Phone call purporting to be from Amazon saying prime membership was due, i should press 1 to go to an agent to make payment, they had the wrong amount and the real payment is not due yet, also the call could not be cancelled the electronic voice carried on until the message was over, this very obviously a scam and the bank agrees. This is also the third time they have tried this one pointless!

SCAM Initially silent, then asked me if it's me on the phone (he knew my name) and then said he's calling from a loan company. When I started asking questions, he hang up.

SCAM Had the name of the person who had my number a decade ago. Told me that person had given them this number when bought a washing machine in 2018. When I pointed this out they hung up so I could not find out the nature of the scam. But number could have been spoofed.

o2 scam- someone called claiming to be from my 'provider' o2- they are not my provider when i questioned this and why it seemed very suspicious he made his excuses and hung up

Scam recording from my visa card Co advising 2 fraud transactions for big amts, called my card Co from no on bk of my card and no transactions have taken place, be careful all especially the elderly, try use a credit card at all times then transfer from Yr debit card to pay it, never take out he house Yr debit card, as bank don't always reimburse u for fraud, the credit card Co will if you have shown you took care reporting any suspicious activity and were careful with Yr details online. They claimed to be from my bank (VM money was Yorkshre Bank) to ask me about potential fraud on my card. (£52 on Argos in Aberdeen) I was supicious when they got agressive when I didn't know my banking paswword and I said I would have to call them back. I called the fraud number I have in my phone (0800 121 4251) and they confirmed it wasn't them that called me before. The chap on the actual fraud line also said that the real bank won't ask for any part of or all your internet banking password EVER!

It's a hi mum/dad scam where they pretend to be your child and ask you for money

SCAM . Clearly coming from a call centre. Stated his name was David (Asian accent), and that the call is about my Microsoft account. I have been plagued by similar calls in recent times, and as my landline is quite new, only a handful of people actually have been given this number, therefore any unsolicited calls are clearly SCAMS

Fraud rang me three times on different numbers telling me someone was trying to withdraw £900 on my debit card and could I press no 1 on my number pad !!
