SCAM,He call me on midlle day or evening 18.06pm saying he is Jessie Wave,from Oxford academy of assignments,and some person ask for my derails from Deparment of Education,and he whant to help me ,because they will give me a penalty of 2000£, I said i am not the person who you loking for and stop calling be! Said he was doing a survey about energy, said that i lived in one on the highest energy use areas in the country and local energy providers want to understand why. I said I would not answer any questions.but he proceeded to ask if I had double glazing. I repeated I was not prepared to disclose any information about me or my property to someone on the phone I did not know. He was polite and hung up. I did feel it was leading to a scam call

A cold call. Caller said that I had a problem with my internet for 3 weeks and his engineers were fixing the problem. Caller did not use my name or the name of my internet provider. Caller did not answer any of my questions but carried on reading from his script. I am sure that this was some sort of SCAM attempt. As usual I did not give the caller any information that would identify me or any account that I may have.

SCAM - Automated call stating unauthorised payments had been made through my bank. “Please press 1 to decline payments or 2 to speak to our staff”. BLOCKED & DELETED.

Noted number and called back through different phone. Sounded like a recorded message from the network provider indicating a terms of service issue and potential out of country routing. Highly dubious. Do not answer.

Fraud SCAM Got a call from this number, 21/02/2024 at 16:41. Scam caller claiming to be carphone warehouse, which I have no account or dealings with. The people on the other end were talking together unaudibly for at least 30 seconds before some lady spoke through the phone claiming to be carphone warehouse, which she called ‘carphone company’. Hang up and block this number immediately.
