This number has been trying to make a dwp application for a budgeting loan without my consent I clocked it on my Google history page hope you can help many thanks, my phone rang at 9pm last night and a Jamaican woman said to me I am returning your missed calls I said to her I havnt made any calls and put phone down and started checking everything then I noticed the dwp thing on history page

SCAM This number appears to the associated with Bank Payment scams because I nearly fell for one, Had an automated message stating from my bank say that they had identified to large debits against my account which were suspicious. When I replied that they were not mine, I was put through to this number and was answered by a man who gave his name as a Paul Butler and stated that he was a member on the bank fraud investigation team. I got suspicious when he told be that this call was confidential.

After an amazon search or purchase automated call saying an amount has been spent on card and asking you to press a number- which will be scam to get your money. Ignore and hang upFraud SCAM

Persistent harassing Scam caller

Number kept calling for 3 days until they finally got hold of me. Caller had a strong accent and call centre noise in the background. Says I've won a competition; total nonsense. Call terminated, number blocked.

There are hundred or so text charges showing on phone provider account to me. But it they were not sent for my phone, there is no record of these text messages being sent on my phone's log.

HMRC fake. Also aggressive answer phone asking me to talk to an agent (press1) or before legal action taken. I don't care if they are the real HMRC, send me a letter or deliver notice by plod.

SCAM This number called me today claiming to be from the carphone warehouse, i told them i didn't have an account with them they proceeded to say they knew and offered me a 'good deal' i said i was happy with my supplier! I was them shouted at by the caller telling me not to ring them again, i said i didn't, you rang me then the caller became abusive telling me not to answer the phone to them again!!! This is a scam number pretending to be Amazon UK. They pretended that i had mistakenly signed up for 'their' yearly subscription and stated i they were due to take 79.99 out of my account today if i did not cancel immediately. They stated that they could sort this out online and that I may be due a refund. I asked them to call back and contacted Amazon service desk who explained that they had never called me and that i was still subscribed on monthly terms. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR DETAILS.

Got a fake HMRC call from this number saying I have court case for tax evasion. Hang it up immediatley and pay it no mind.

Definite scam. I looked up Starpro - Aberdeen. They call off different numbers all based in Aberdeen and there's loads of people stating that they were scam artists trying to claim to be a phone company and asking for details.

Two text messages from this number: 1) Saturday 28th January 2023 advising that Apple Pay temporarily suspended due to unusual activity and link provided to renew wallet. 2) Sunday 29th January advising that unusual activity occurred on at 4:34 AM and temporary suspension and same link provided. Obvious scam.

Scam call from HMRC with recorded message in an American accent saying you need to pay X amount by such and such a date.

This call was telling me there is a warranty out in my name for fraud!!!!!
