randomly called me, no clue who they are. didn't answer
SCAM 01967 401277 ranf 2 days in a row at around 10am. No one answers, but you can here something going on in the background, like in the call centres atht have multiple hones on dial at once. I hung up straight away and blocked the number. Possible HMRC scam.
Called them back as I never answer a call I don`t recognise. Company is S3 who specialise in software security

Cold-calling to do with promoting books on Amazon.com for self-published authors. I am not the person they’re trying to contact, although they have the same name. Poor research on their part. They also have my email address. It looks like a London number, but I’m not 100% convinced that it’s UK based. They referred to Amazon.com, not Amazon.co.uk. Caller had an American accent. The call was in relation to a card payment. The call seems fradulant as the card type mentioned was visa and this was wrong.
SCAM most definitely a scam - recorded announcement saying your Visa card has been compromised with a transaction of £300 at Amazon, etc. Instructed to press 1 to report it - DON'T! Just put the phone down.
