I'm not sure if this number is a scam or not because my card had stopped working the day before, but would always recommend if you need to contact the bank then google what their phone number is and ring that one, NOT the number a message asks you to call (for coop bank it should be 0345 721 2212)

This number is claiming to be Currys PC World Mobile. I work at Currys myself and is internally being recognised as a spam number pretending to be Currys to sell fake mobile contracts for their details. Avoid.

Pretending to be Three mobile - was rude and abusive when I told them that I was taking three to court due to previous levels of service, so I knew they would not be marketing me and that this is a scam. Asian call centre using UK phone numbers. BEWARE!

SCAM - Pretending to be O2, tries to get you to verify using texts from O2.. DON'T DO IT! Basically they log on to O2 and use the 'forgot password' function on your account.. the texts are real, but they are just using the detaisl to change your password and gain access to your account. SCAM

Phone number - UK landline - 01174526780 called my unregistered landline. On picking up the call, there was NO RESPONSE from the caller - be it from a BOT or Person who initiated the call. - I then returned the call with my number with-held and a BOT replied "This number is not in service" !! . This 'who called me service' identified the number above as UK - Bristol. Well, they phoned earlier and a recorded message informed me, that it was my banks security department, which it obviously wasn't, the number trace showed a call the Russian Federation, RED FLAG. She said, Somebody has accesed your account and made a £600 purchase fron Amazon and a £2,000 transfer to an international account, RED FLAG I politely told her to stop trying t scam people and she immediately hang up, basically, our phone providers should block these calls, as we are paying to receive them!

SCAM: I believe this caller is possibly cloning local STD numbers. In an American automated-voice it then claims a substantial purchase has been made fron Amazon via your VISA account. Both of these accounts I have since checked and have not been affected in this way, hence my reporting this bogus land-line call.
