I was called, today, by this number but did not pick up as unknown to me.
"We've had to stop your card due to some unusual activity. Did you use your card for 195.90 GBP? If yes reply YES. If NO, Call 08004370296 or +4408004370296". As others, I don't bank with Halifax.

Scam call. Pretends to be from O2 offering half price bills. As soon as you say you're not with O2, it hangs up. Local London number but poor quality/routed phone line.
Had a missed call and went to ring the number then my phone advised it is potential fraud t or to buy. Comments on other sites advise this is a scam.

This person, man/woman called and was very rude down the phone, very demanding. Next time the same person called from this number 03302200441, was continusly rude and shouting down the phone, has called us to the count of 37 times from 03/02/2023 to present date 04/05/2023 - the 07951999600 number is listed in the Lady magazine issue 10/2021 under as wanting to buy scarfs.

Really annoying silent phone call to my mobile. If someone has misdialed then at least apologise and then hang up, don’t leave it open for 5-8 seconds on a silent call then cut it off. Not even a mobile number which they usually are.

So they asked for £800 to be paid in by bank transfer and wanted me to do it on the spot by giving

Early morning call; the caller claimed to be from amazon asking about an iPhone order(never made) and said someone must have used my details. They asked if I was on an Android or iPhone, or to go to google on chrome to search for 'Anydesk' ( this App is for remote access, so I refused to download it,) when they realized I understood what it was they hung up. I didn't recognise the whole number but knew the local code so I answered. It's Rapid Entry Rescue phoning me after one of their guys actually got me in my cat after I locked the keys inside!
