SCAM This number appears to the associated with Bank Payment scams because I nearly fell for one, Had an automated message stating from my bank say that they had identified to large debits against my account which were suspicious. When I replied that they were not mine, I was put through to this number and was answered by a man who gave his name as a Paul Butler and stated that he was a member on the bank fraud investigation team. I got suspicious when he told be that this call was confidential.

I always answer in this way when I receive an unexpected phone call from an unfamiliar number. Legitimate callers always say "hello" and try to get a response. Scammers hang up.
