Apparently I was due to compensation £££m having been conned by Mecedes about emissions. Told him I had seven Mercs, was a little busy and could he just put the money into a plain envelope and leave it underneath a bench at Fenchhurch Street station without passing GO, and I would have my butler pick it up later. He cut me off without confirming. The number is now blocked. Sense a potential scam.

SCAM caller - called saying he's from my bank, quoted some card details (correct, must be on a stolen database) to say that Apple Pay / Contactless are down for 24-48 hours while they do upgrades. I didn't give him any info but somehow he managed to set up an Apple Pay with my card and stole £2,600 from our company account, on payday, 4 days before Christmas. We're now completely skint and can't afford to pay the wages. Been doing some investigating and his name is Tyrell, apparently. Fuck you Tyrel

01134780179 called 31 Mar 23 at 17:58 hrs. Female caller advised that some loft insulation has now been classified as dangerous and I qualify for a free survey of my loft.. Advised call that my loft is fully insulated and boarded. Caller said we'll call that closed then. Could that be the caller from 01134780149 at 17:26 hrs earlier same day, and, from 01134780181 at 17:43 same day but didn't leave a message?

A SCAM - be very careful as the person on the phone will try to get you to download a programme called "anydesk.com" which gives remote access to your computer. In my case the person said he was from SKY and was checking on my report on bad internet signal (that part was true). He took me through a few dialogue boxes (thankfully I knew that I was not changing settings). He then tried to get me to download the programme. Thankfully I questioned it. He hung up. Some tosser pretending to be called "Nick" calling from the deposit protection agency or something, babbling on about my previous landlords keeping my deposit (nope) or my current one not keeping the deposit secure (it is), fucking dickhead.
My wife had a call from this number regarding bank fraud for £700 & £900. Don't think it's legit.

Called today claiming to be a debt management company but didn't give me the name. Was very polite but annoying as he kept repeating things. Fortunately I don't need a debt management company. Had all my details but didn't tell me how he got them. Blocked.
Fraud Caller says they are from the fraud department of your credit card. They then say they are checking on a suspicious transaction which is bogus of course. They say they will block the account but only once they email you a one time pass code which they want read back to them. It’s a scam and was confirmed by the genuine fraud department once I called them.
Number rang me saying it was for an O2 upgrade and when i caught him out on being a scam he kept calling me back from numbers which my phone said was in random countries. O2 would not be persistent for 5 minutes repeatedly calling me from different numbers. Pushy, annoying and fake.
