Drop calling my number without speaking
Called for days without speaking until today pretending to be from "Merchant Review". Asking to speak to "whoever is in charge of the merchant account" when told we don't have a credit card machine they hanged up. Very fishy.

This is a scam company trying to sell services for stock trading. They use a multiple mobile back up numbers also. They are always non English natives with Russian, east European, Indian accents featuring. They will offer to send you a clickable What's App link which is possibly infected with a Trojan virus or takes you to a website. They will keep calling no matter you telling them you are not interested. Definitely avoid.
I was contacted from this number at 16:30 on 10.06.2022. It was a man of Asian origin judging by the accent (Pakistani, Indian, Sri Lankan or Bangladeshi) and said quote: “Hello, is this ***** *****? (he pronounced my real name and surname and I confirmed). I am calling from UP Choice (I never heard about such company). Don’t worry I am not going to sell you anything. A scam caller called Crypto-something-or-other. Offered me 50 dollars of Bitcoin in exchange for attending some seminar; no doubt the scam is that they try to sell you more junk cryptocurrency. Nobody really transfers Bitcoin in increments as low as $50 because the fees are so high. They knew my first name somehow and ignored the TPS Do Not Call list.

Asian male caller who was offering me something. Unfortunately he spoke in a heavy Asian accent and was completely incoherent. Asked he three times to speak in English before he hung up.
An urgent verbal message on a loop advising me that Trojan software had been active on my system and that I should not switch off and should phone this number which I did - they said they were Microsoft (a residential number!?) The person wanted me to hold down the Windows and 'R' keys so that he could correct the problem. I asked him if that enabled him to take control of my machine and he then put the phone down. Seems dodgy.

Call center maybe. Rings two to four times a every day even on Sunday for a number of months. Today three phone calls from whoever and it's 13:11, so I suspect there will be more today as this phone number rings me in the afternoon and evening too, even 9pm.
