CALL CENTRE. From some supposed company called FAVOR TRADE. Typical Pakis and Indians using local numbers and English names. They say you’ve registered on their platform and then send you an email with their own password to login and tell you to change your contact information ( they created it ). BE CAREFUL. SCAM!!!

I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. Well, the caller sent me an anonymous message on WhatsApp: "Hi i am looking for a partner who can supply my company with a raw chemical. Please reply back to me if you are interested for more details". I am living in Hungary, have nothing to do with chemicals.

Claiming to be calling from the "UK government" and "track and trace" asking about vaccination status and whether I've received a "vaccine certificate". Asked about the purpose of the call, she said it is to update my records. Informed her that is very interesting as the UK government does not issue "vaccine certificates" as it is all held in the NHS app. She then terminated the call. Suspected scam call beware.

This number called today at 07.36 and claimed to be from Microsoft. The person with an Asian accent told me my computer has been compromised and said have you herd of hackers. I asked for an email to confirm it was Microsoft but he reassured me it was and trust him he has details of my computer security number, we went round incircles a bit, then I put the phone down. 10secons later he called back asking why I put the phone down as I new he was genuine but called me from a different number02088884827.

Said they were from BT and were going to cancel Broadband, installed anywhere desktop access software and installed Trojan Gen 5 to gain access to a bank account. Thankfully the bank saw it as a large amount and blocked the transaction
