Had a call from 'Albany' asking me about my recent minor road accident. I've not been in any accident so assume it was a fishing expedition for some kind of scam....

They called me 3 times today saying they are from People's Opinion. They knew my name, address etc. They then told me that they weren't selling, but carrying out a survey on the electrical appliances I have in my home. They wanted me to confirm my details which I refused to do. I wasn't going to tell them where I live, all of my personal details and what I have in my home in case a couple of weeks later I'm burgled!
Claimed to be from Oxford and wanted to supply an alert for a medical condition. Called on the FAX line and did not ask to speak to anyone by name so this was clearly a scam call.
