They took me for 3K and said they will tell my wife if I called them again. Scam. American type accent called about an accident I supposedly had. I ve only had my phone number for a week and only given it out out my Mum so I guess they re calling random numbers, or all the numbers between two real ones - in either case they don t have the details of any accident.

Will try to get information out of you, making you think they can help you claim for an accident. Very good at sounding like they know what they re talking about!

This might be a follow up from a so-called survey I foolishly agreed to go through a few days ago - and during which I asked NOT to be contacted from, I assume, the people instigating it in the first place. Indian sounding person said his name was John called claiming to be from BT and that our internet connection could be accessed and our personal information could be compromised. he asked me to go on to my computer and he will guide me through what to do. Then i Put the phone down.

Kept ringing my landline, when I asked him why he kept ringing he said if I didn t talk with him he would ring every day non stop until I did!! Bullyish, rang 10 times in 4 minutes.
