SCAM This number was the first of three (others were 0208 888 7676 and 01782 254545) which I received on 17th and 18th July 2023, telling me I had security problems with users accessing my computer files. I was told that I needed to open my event viewer logs so that they could help me to block the users etc. After playing dumb and stretching out the phone call - I eventually told them that I knew they were trying to scam me - which met with a tirade of abuse - especially from one female calling herse

Scam. Pretended to be O2 and randomly offered me 30% off my bill. He had no information on me, very unprofessional, wanted me to confirm all my personal data. When I suggested this was a scam he hung up on me.

This number is calling saying they are HMRC notifying a fake fine and trying to pass you with an agent. Dont do it, it is scam

Automated voice call from this number on Tues 27th June regarding a "transfer from my account in the sum of £1000+ and a transaction to Amazon in the sum of £300+" and I was invited to press button 1 to authorise both transactions which I obviously did not do. There was no description of which "account" involved in either the transfer or the Amazon transaction. Checking all accounts confirms NO cash transfer and NO transaction with Amazon.

This number came up on a pop up box when trying to install a new version of Microsoft Office on a Mac. It said you needed to ring the number for help or you would lose the product. This is not the case and this company has no affiliation with Microsoft. It is a scam to get your credit card info and gain access to your computer. Run a separate Google search and ring Microsoft’s real helpline number if this happens to you. If you’ve already given them access to your computer ring Action Fraud.

I got a load of texts from this number saying we found your Mrs then my surname. That’s it. I didn’t open the text as I can see it in review. Looks like a scam

SCAM Automated voice claiming they are about to charge you £80 for a renewed Amazon Prime subscription, hoping that you'll opt to talk to a sales rep who will then try to extract your account information from you.

They told me my Apple Pay is no longer available and my device had been flagged and when I clicked on the link it was a fully functioning Apple page but not the real one and it asked for all my information, please don’t call for this scam

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. SCAM - "NC Power" claiming to be our provider (Gazprom) trying to confirm information as next month's billing will be wrong. Same woman called last month from a different number (029 218 2591) asking the exact same thing for the previous month's billing. Pointed out that I'd personally called Gazprom about something else (in the last two days!) and mentioned these calls and that our accounts are actually fine and she hung up?!
