Claimed to be from EE and that they could reduce my phone bill. (I'm not with them on this number). As soon as I said that their number was flagged as potential spam they hung up

Said he was doing a survey about energy, said that i lived in one on the highest energy use areas in the country and local energy providers want to understand why. I said I would not answer any questions.but he proceeded to ask if I had double glazing. I repeated I was not prepared to disclose any information about me or my property to someone on the phone I did not know. He was polite and hung up. I did feel it was leading to a scam call

Just called my mobile - auto voice telling me HMRC have a returned letter and legal proceedings are about to start, press 1 to speak to someone - OF COURSE I hung up - clearly a scam!!

Indian accent, claiming to be from O2 offering 30% discount on your plan. They try to trick you by submitting a 'forgotten password' command onto your account. You receive a genuine text message from O2 with a security code. They try to convince you that's the 'discount activation code' and ask you to give it to them, presumably to hack your account while on the phone to you. Do not give them anything! Fraud

This number called me but i didnt pick up, i called them back and then they didnt pick up. i relised the number has whatsapp so i was bored and went and checked too see who they were as they would have a name. the name of the number was 'haroonfahad42926' i made a note of this and blocked the number, not just on normal call but also on the whatsapp. a day later i got a text from a different number on whatsapp and there account was called 'haroonfahad42926' again. the account was a buisness account but wa

Daughter answered phone at 17.32. Caller asked for her mother. Told I was out. Said to be from bank about my card being used for payment in London. Caller gave my address and asked for confirmation. Daughter said she couldn't give info without me being present. No is showing as individuals phone with EE.

Claimed to be calling from "credit investigation unit" and government had shortlisted me to write off 90% of my debt. I got him to stop, then said I was recording the call and began quizzing him. The story he spun twisted and flipped, wouldn't answer how/why the government knows what my credit status is, or who compiles the shortlist, or where his employer got it. I repeated that I was recording the call and suggested it was a scam. He swore and cut off the call.

Caller ID identified the call was from Bishops Stortford. The caller said he was from O2 offering a 30% discount on my tariff. I told him I was suspicious of this call, he diverted me to another person who repeated the discount spiel. Asked why I'd be getting a discount, he said many complaints to O2 has led them to offer 'selected customers' a discount; I wouldn't have to give him any personal details, he would send me 2 texts. so I told him to sod off and disconnected the call. This is a scam. Someone sent me a written message through WhatsApp. A message sent by "mistake" by a very good looking young lady (from the profile pic). Very sweet, kind person, always giving out compliments. Sent photos and videos of "herself". A week later, wants you to invest in an ETH mining pool. Fortunately, I woke up in time. BEWARE.
