SCAM Automated message allegedly from "Bank Authorisation Department" re two claimed charges on my Mastercard account of £300 via Amazon AND £1100 from a "gambling site in California", invitation to press 1 to take some action over the charge and press 2 to speak to someone. Too stupid to expect me to deal with two separate transactions in one button press, ALSO I had had another automated call, not sure who they said was calling, but it was from a Dutch number 0031203692139 five minutes

They said they were calling from HMRC, however HMRC never calls mobile numbers. Phone scams are a common way for criminals to con people out of money using various tricks to get your personal or financial information. A funny voice asked me to wait until the next HMRC agents would be available. Finally when the "agent" picked up the call, I asked them where they got my number and the "agent" clearly trying to avoid to answer started asking for my personal details. I said that since they

Man with good English African voice, knew my first name and claimed to be from my property repairs. Clearly he was a liar as he had no connection to my area nor the my property ownership.

This was a scam call claiming to be from a restaurant I visited recently through OpenTable, they got my card info before phoning back on a private number claiming to be from Santander.

Male with Indian accent called claiming to be from EE offering me a cheap contract. Told him EE have my email address, to email me and then he said only the marketing department will have that...Told him I don't agree to just anyone claiming to be from EE to get money out of me for a contract I can't see. Then I put the phone down on him

Received a call stating from British Gas with regards to my boiler cover. Advised that I will be covered for £22 a month and asked for my sortcode and account number. They also advised that if I had any issues with my boiler I should call the freephone number which was 01202 138 752. When I advised them that I work for British Gas Services which I do they hung up. Fraud these scammers keep calling and changing their number each time. Blocking them every time. but still get 2 to 3 calls daily. Utter scammers who need terminating.

I was called from this number this morning claiming to be from my bank. It was a recorded message and not a ‘live’ caller. I was informed there were two suspect transactions from my account and, if they weren’t from me, I should press 1 on my keypad. I hung up immediately, checked my bank account and saw that the transactions didn’t exist so I assume that this was an attempted scam.
