Received 3 calls from this number in an hour!! Getting really cheesed off

Claimed to be from "Alba Services", saying that "money has been allocated" for improving energy efficiency in homes. Told me that they got the phone number from a "homeowner database" but wouldn t give any further info. It must be a crap database as this is a newsagents shop.... Chancing scammers.

QTS called from 0161 854 0340 regarding a car accident, they knew date and details of accident and my car details. When I queried their call and asked for more details they hung up.

I believe the email I received regarding a BT bill is a scam like several previous ones as the address is not a BT one. This is the phone number quoted in the email.

Said calling about my life insurance. When asked where they got my number said it was opted in as I had my life insurance with a selection of providers. I am not with any of them, and if I did not in - so would be breaking GDPR

This is Scottish Power and they don t leave messages. They have been trying to contact me since I told them I was leaving to go to another provider. When you try to call the number back the phone is always engaged. I must get 3 or 4 calls each day but don t answer as I have number recognition and don t want to speak to them. They can call for ever but they are wasting their time.

This company has been calling our business address informing he is from e-on, asking for personal details. This company is a harassment caller and has called this morning several times with a very aggressive tone. We have had to be firm but he is still persistently calling. We have verified with e-on that they have not had contact with us and told not to give nay personal details. AVOID

DO NOT GIVE YOUR BANK DETAILS to them over the phone. Im not sure who these ppl are. But Ive seen theyve rang up alot of ppl saying they ve won a makeover. Well apparently you gotta pay £40 as a deposit. Now..Im not sure is this company is legit but it s not worth the risk. Do not accept..Ask for more details like I did. The man just got disinterested and hung up on me. He was impolite and rude.

Didn t answer the call and came here to check the number. Lots of these apparently foreign numbers are actually originating in the UK by using software diallers that mask the caller s true location.As other posters suggest, a good rule of thumb is - if the number looks suspicious it probably is.

They informed me that they now offer a free service to Unite members like myself where they will compare all of the different life insurance quotes that are available to me. I think they last called me around 2 years ago and are always very respectful. In a roundabout way, they are trying to sell a service, but at no point pressured me into buying anything. This number buggers me several times a day. Why is it that they keep calling me, when they have my mother s number and could contact her directly.... It s a legitimate number, as I ve checked with TSB themselves when they carried the first time. It s going on my block list.
