Asian man called on consecutive days purporting to be from BT, sounded like he was a first year foreign exchange student calling from the bottom of the Ganges. Pot command of the English language and terrible line obviously not BT as hung up when authenticity requested.

Checking detail to reactivate my call blocking service, asked for bank card details for the direct debit. Knew I paid phone bills by direct debit! Supposedly passed me to the manager to confirm it was a bonefide call etc. etc. I ended the call. Very aggressive.

Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? Cnuts rang my mobile at 06.25 on Saturday morning. Didn't answer but it disturbed my sleep. Presumably just another filthy foreign scammer hoping I'll ring their premium number.
"James" (Spoke very poor English)said he was calling from BT and that my internet router was infected and he needed to log on remotely to my PC. I asked why BY was calling because I am with another service provider. He said if I didn t let him log on my PC would close down and be permenantly damaged. I asked him for I number at BT i could verify his call was genuine and he hung up
