Just received a fake call (pre-recoded) claiming to be from HMRC! Claiming my mum was "going to get sued" and told her to call back on the following number; 0203 322 4298 it s not HMRC. I ve passed it onto HMRC IN London and to the local police and the Met Police Fraud Unit. If you receive a call like this do not call the number they are simply scamming people Ito giving their bank details, frightening old people like mum is wrong and is also a crime. Not a scam at all. It is a Vodaphone number and they offered me a tablet, initially for just over £3 a week which immediately dropped to £10 per month when I declined. I still said no, but caller was polite and not aggressive or persistent. If they keep calling I ll revise this rating.

This number rings me 10 times a day everyday recently, looking online it seems to be an accident line so annoying to be hounded by them. They call me late on in the evening as well
