This number has been searched at least 1250 times, if not more. The POLICE are aware and need to identify these scammers, so the more it is reported the better the chance of catching them. Received a text from this number, claiming to be from Evri (the new name for Hermes), saying they'd missed a delivery, and wanted £1.45 for redelivery. I googled Evri and and according to them it's a scam, to get your bank details and Mt your account.

Caller claimed to be from BT openreach calling about internet issues. They asked me to run a speed test and when I said I had 69 download and 18 upload they said that the difference was an issue. When I pointed out that it was always like that, and wasn't supposed to be the same they hung up. Obviously a scam.

Broad Indian accent, difficult to understand but the general gist I got was he wanted my details so he can save me 30-40% off my bill. Had to press for details on what bill he was saving me money on, he stammered and, almost like he was guessing, said my O2 mobile phone bill. Nobody in this house has any O2 devices so be safe - don't give these scumbags any details. Block the number, maybe work out some of your anger by screaming abuse at them as I did.

Says he is from citizens advice bureau and asked me if I owe a lot of debt. They mentioned that they had some paperwork about me and that I have debts which I owe. Sounded suspicious so I said No I don’t owe anything and then they said goodbye and hung up. I think it’s s scam to be honest.

SCAM Claims to be from O2 and sends texts messages during the call requesting that you tell the caller the code that is in the message for a 40% discount. An obvious scam, reported to NCSC and O2 as it looks like they’re trying to scam users into giving O2 account passcodes which is fraud. Kept her talking long enough for her to become quite rude and call me a liar, I’m not even with O2 so not sure why they’d target me, certainly not an O2 employee anyway.
