They verified my details, knew my name and every handset/plan I already had, and after a brief chat, concluded that I didnt need anything. I get these kind of calls 1-2 a year. They are a telesales company likely working with EE. There is a lot of negative comments, but this is the way the capitalist world you live in works. Accept you will get these calls, people trying to sell your something.

Scam call - woman rabbiting on about energy saving, need to send an energy consultant to my house to do a survey. 'Helen' good at talking but rubbish at listening! Asked her twice what is the name of her company but she kept talking fast. Unrecognised tele number that actually left a message in the form of a female electronic voice with US accent. Message didn’t begin as you would expect - seems to come in part way through a sentence - but the gist suggests an arrest warrant for financial irregularities has been issued & to call the number back. No name reference etc. Clear fraud. Number blocked but will keep in case of a future similar call from a similar number & pass to the authorities. Derbys.
