Called me claiming to be Scottish Power, wanted me to tell them my address, saying I had a debt on my account. I asked them to tell me the address to which they claimed the debt was overdue on, but they couldn't. When I told them that I have never had an account with Scottish Power, they became very aggressive and eventually told me to f..k off and hung up on me.

SCAM; recorded message claiming to be from BT Internet department (they're not our ISP), saying they'd tried to contact (they hadn't) and they were going to disconnect us. Put the phone down but no doubt they would have tried to get money or details from us.
SCAM. Received a text with a link stating Royal Mail tried to deliver a parcel and to click on the link to redeliver. The grammar was incorrect too. I blocked the number and DID NOT click on the link. Please beware of texts or emails of these nature. I checked the link on another device and it was invalid!

02039418540. Calling my mobile repeatedly. Called back from masked number...and found they are SKS IT Services (there is a UK company listed at companies house but it was dissolved there 12.6.2018). The called did not know where I was from so admitted they are in Bangalore before I pointed out they were using a virtual London number. The only staff was Arslan Majeed who was both secretary and Director. Born July 1983.

Received a call offering a free tablet, declined as I did not believe they were calling from Vodafone themselves, and hung up. Then received a seemingly automated text message from Vodafone advising the call was genuine, but the grammar in the text was poor - "infact", "you wasn t sure", "removed you from our list of customer" - so I can t be sure if it is genuine. Surely a big company like that would check something so simple?

Have been rang by this number at least once a day for about 3 weeks - I normally miss the call as I don t have my phone on my at work. On the one occasion I picked up no one said anything on the other end when I said Hello then they put the phone down. I tried to ring back but it went the the guardian newspaper voicemail - I have no connection with the guardian so I don t think its very legit!

I received a call from Motorpal today Telephone number 029 2036 4211 , they wanted me to pay £1 for vouchers to be sent then alarm bells rang so I did some checking and found this site. I have asked them to call back tomorrow as I said I did not have my card to hand lol. I will be giving the details of the caller to the fraud squad tomorrow and contacting my local MP after the general election . This is a scam number from India (pretending to be in Northern Ireland) saying they are BT Openreach and I have a virus on my PC. Just put the phone down BT does not call customers unless you have already raised a fault and all their call centres are in the UK.
