THERE ARE LOADS OF THESE CALLS & FRONT DOOR CALLERS TOO. 1) NEVER CONDUCT ANY BUSINESS WITH UNINVITED OR UNKNOWN CALLERS ON YOUR DOORSTEP OR VIA YOUR PHONE OR INTERNET. 2) DON'T GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION NOR CONFIRM ANYTHING THEY ASK YOU ABOUT AND NEVER EVER TELL YOUR BANK DETAILS. 3) NEVER EVER GIVE YOUR DATE OF BIRTH (and never use a true d.o.b. on social media websites - always use a false date of birth when signing up if pressed for your d.o.b. on those sites). 4) NE

A company who's email doesn't exist and address that doesn't either. Reckon I've signed up for Body and Mind Rewards, which I haven't and have a few weeks to cancel, which you cannot as email bounces back.

Scam. Pretended to be O2 and randomly offered me 30% off my bill. He had no information on me, very unprofessional, wanted me to confirm all my personal data. When I suggested this was a scam he hung up on me.

Trying to sell me vouchers

an automated call from an undisclosed bank telling me that there had been a £500 and £1000 spend on my credit card. I can't track down this number anywhere and would also have expected it to tell me which bank was calling..... off to do some further investigation

Asked her what country she was calling from and what location which she wouldn't answer, she then wanted to know if I was a private or social tennant. Scam Indian call centre, says internet is broken and tries to get you to download a remote access computer program so they can take over your computer and then claim a ransom from you. Suggest you keep them hanging on the line as long as possible but don't download anything or give them your details. Just string them along and frustrate them. Then give them a mouthful of verbal abuse when you are ready to hang up. Number was +44 (0) 7444496409.

SCAM - voice recording alerting me to large suspicious purchase on my account - but I don't have an account so it's obviously a scam

Automated message supposedly to be from my bank about charges to my account, the first for £700. I hung up as sure it's a scam. My bank doesn't contact me this way, or in this manner. Double checked and all is fine. My bank has been very good so far at spotting fraudulent debits. This looked like a local number so it could appear legitimate. I expect there was a number to press to connect with scammer. Despicable people.
