Received a WhatsApp message from this number claiming to be someone who has just immigrated to the UK. In the WhatsApp contact details it says that the number is a business account but it also has a comment saying it isn’t a business account. Very dubious. Suspect a phishing scam

Its a scam about a payment on your visa debit card which passes you through to a very noisy call centre.

SCAM My phone was not switched on so it reported a missed call but no message left. Anyone reputable would have left a message.

Someone claiming to be from "Tenancy Deposit Helpline" asking if we have a private tenancy deposit. Asked where they got our details from, they said from the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, I said surely they'd know if we had a private deposit if that was where they got out details. He hung up.

I never answer the landline (to avoid giving scammers/spammers the knowledge that my landline is a valid number). I researched the number but could not find a legitimate index entry, so I conclude it is a scam and not to be trusted at all. Potentially dangerous. Just been called from this number claiming to be from BT Openreach wanting my Internet details as my security had been compromised. When challenged the caller was rude and hung up on me.This website suggests the phone is based near Greater Manchester but a phone locator website suggests it is based in London. Calling the number back yielded no response.

This is to harvest people’s voice related to your phone number and location for database. All done in a nano second by AI software. Someone wants to know where you are and that it is you answering the phone. That is why you get these calls several times daily even if you have told you are not interested.

I think this is a scam . Phoned about my bank wanting me tp phone them . Dont do it check with your bank first as this has come from germany .

Someone called "John" with a strong Indian accent supposedly calling form Virgin Media about my broadband speed. If you dial this number it gets you to Leeds General Infirmary...

Spoke to a gentleman who called from this number. Sounded middle eastern. Was very polite and respectful, He asked me if I could send him video of me having sex with a pig. I told him I would not feel right violating his wife. He laughed wildly and hung up!

Called using my name and asked about a website domain apparently registered to me, without giving any details of who they were. Ended the call immediately.

Called and immediately rang off to entice a call back; potentially high cost - scam !!

VEry bad line, "indian" accent. sounded like some sort of insurance scam. I have had several calls this week from 3 numbers that differ only in last 3 digits.

Cold caller claiming to be wanting to do a "young persons disability survey". Probably computer generated dialling since I am ex-directory and they had no idea as to the age generation they were talking to.
