I m pretty sure this is nt a scam or anything nefarious. I ve received several SMS messages from this number confirming bookings I ve made with holidaylettings.co.uk. If you ve received a message from this no. then I suggest it s just the property owner trying to contact you and nothing malicious.

However, I have not had an HSBC account for more than 4 years. Please report the number to your phone carrier and apply the normal block and spam filter to the number. Just got call from this person spoke with english accent asked about car I was selling on gumtree only posted seconds before phone call then asked about accidents and I hung up had two calls this week off same number one before got straight to the point asking about an accident i had. I ve never had one in my life I challenged him and he hung up. My guess there getting numbers off gumtree ads for cars. Number now blocked.
