Fraud - claim to be calling from the security department of my bank (not naming the bank) about two card transactions this morning, one of £300 for Amazon and one of £1.100 on Amazon. Press 1 to authorise payments, press 2 to speak to customer service advisor. I hung up.

The caller rang of as soon as I answered. Therefore I suspect some Sort of sales rubbish or scammer. They will not get a chance to mess me about again as I am blocking the number. I hate this method of trying to sell things to the general public. Most of my peer group no longer answer their land line or their mobile if the number is not in their phones contact list.

Pakistani said he was called Nahim Amin. Tried to sell me his mum but I said no. He said he could reduce the price I said I’m not interested . Not into hookers. My mum in law who is 98 had her bt bill charged £20.30 . Never got to the bottom of it as when called it wasn't recognised. Bt did waive the charge.
We has an automated call from this number 01189668888 today claiming that our Amazon Prime subscription is about to expire. Don't understand how a taxi/minibus company would know this. We have never had an Amazon Prime account.
